It looks like Apple is attempting to reversing it’s trend of bad press lately and has released a much anticipated app to the app store. Engadget is reporting that Apple released their Idisk App to the App store.

This is an app that users of MobileMe have been waiting for many years to get their hands on.

Thanks Nicole for the heads up!

In a move that shows Citrix strongly beleives in the future of mobile computing they have announced a number of new client offerings.

Citrix has long had a “Client” for pocketpc/windows Mobile. It has recently added the Receiver for Iphone, a Receiver for Blackberryy, and now a Receiver for Google Android http://bit.ly/P0vSB.

Less important is the fact that you can now view your spreadsheet on a 3 inch screen but rather that Citrix is in a position to ride along with which mobile operating system rises to the top. It appears that they firmly believe the future of computing is mobile.

I have to admit I am starting to become a believer as well. Given the rumors that Apple is going to be launching a tablet in September that will be offered at a low cost via a subsidized agreement with Verizon, and the success of net books I too think it is a matter of time, and they are best to be prepared for the space.

Do you think the Mobile Computing market is getting enough attention from Citrix?

It seems that Apple and ATT are facing some tough business choices recently.

The first issue causing them some issues is the following report that ATT is blocking access to a message board http://bit.ly/Yvk18 that it claims was participating in a Denial of service (DOS) attack against it. The kicker is that this site is an image sharing site. The result is that the people using the site are more interested in generating a DOS attack now. Should be an interesting battle to watch.

The second issue causing concern is the anti competitive behavior that ATT is forcing Apple to participate in. According to Apple Insider Apple is being forced to pull any apps using Google Voice from the App store. We first saw ATT force Apple to put restrictions on Skype so that it only worked on WIFI, now this. Is it January yet? Come on Verizon time to shine!
